We are very excited to announce that Rainbow Ballroom Toronto will be offering a new dance session in 2024!

 

Our 12-lesson Pride Performance Dance Session starts on Friday, January 12th till June 28th at the 519 Church St. Community Centre. Pending Pride Toronto's confirmation, the performance is tentatively scheduled on Saturday, June 29th and the venue/time to be decided.

 

This is a twice-a-month schedule, i.e., every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month always starting at 7 p.m.  Please note: it's not every other Friday.

Extra dance rehearsal dates  may be added in June. Dancers interested in performing must be available to perform on June 29th pending approval by Pride Toronto.

 

The classes will be taught at the Beginner-Intermediate level. Beginners, you are very welcome to join!

 

The dances are Salsa (7-7:45 pm) and Bachata (7:45-8:30 pm) with our exquisite Janine Mullowney as your instructor. 

 

No partner required and no commitment to perform on the Pride weekend required either. Wear an attire comfortable enough for you to raise your hand and/or turn. Wear shoes suitable for dancing (dress shoes, ballroom dance shoes, etc.). Rubber sole shoes are not recommended. FYI - This is also a scent-free environment.

 

To register, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your chosen class. The regular fee is $90/dance and the student/senior rate is $45/dance. Should you wish to register for both, the discounted fee for adults is $150. For students/seniors, it's $75. When you register, you may pay by cheque, cash or e-transfer to RAINBOWBALLROOMTORONTO@GMAIL.COM
